Privacy Policy – MindMachine

Summary: MindMachine is a prototype app. We do not require accounts. We do not ask for your name, email, or location. The app may show ads via Google AdMob and may offer in-app purchases/subscriptions via Google Play Billing. Those services may collect data as described below.

1) Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the MindMachine Android app (package name solutions.tretter.mindmachine).

2) Data we collect

MindMachine itself is designed to work without collecting personal information. However, the app uses third-party services that may collect information automatically.

2.1 Data stored locally on your device

The app stores your preferences and any programs you create locally on your device (for example: countdown settings, brightness preference, and saved programs). This data is stored using Android’s local app storage and is not intentionally transmitted by us to our servers.

2.2 Advertising (AdMob)

The free version of the app may display ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process information such as:

Device identifiers (for example, Advertising ID)
IP address (may be used to estimate general location)
App interaction and ad interaction events
Diagnostic information (crash/performance data)

2.3 Payments and subscriptions (Google Play Billing)

If you purchase “Remove ads” (one-time) or subscribe to remove ads (monthly), payments are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Google may provide us with purchase state information (for example, whether the subscription is active) to enable the entitlement in the app.

3) How we use data

To operate the app: store your settings and programs locally so the app works as expected.
To show ads: request and display ads (unless you remove ads).
To provide entitlements: check purchase/subscription status to remove ads for eligible users.
To improve stability: AdMob/Google Play services may provide diagnostics/crash signals.

4) Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data may be processed by third parties (Google) when you view ads or make purchases, as described above.

5) Data retention

Local app data: remains on your device until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app.
Third-party data: handled according to Google’s retention policies.

6) Your choices and controls

Remove ads: you can subscribe or purchase a one-time product to remove ads (where available).
Opt out of ad personalization: use Android/Google settings for ad personalization and Advertising ID controls.
Delete local data: uninstall the app or clear app storage in Android settings.

7) Children’s privacy

MindMachine is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8) Security

We use reasonable measures within the app to protect locally stored data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9) International transfers

Google may process data on servers located outside your country/region. Refer to Google’s documentation for details.

10) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the latest revision.
